Womens Self Defense & Assault Prevention Class

Class one: 1:45PM to 5PM (Sunday)

Class two: 1:45PM-5PM (Sunday) July 29th, 2012This three plus hour block of training will introduce teen age girls and woman to the basic
skills needed to evade and escape an attack and be a stepping stone for future training.
After fighting skills training, students
will be given the opportunity to defend them self from a padded suit attacker allowing for full realistic striking. Varied
assault scenarios will be role played.
Minors will need their parents’ signed permission to attend. Parents may stay and watch the class.
Mature topics such as domestic violence, rape, and violent assault will be discussed.

Threat Awareness & Self-protection Training Seminars
Each year in the United States, tens of thousands of women are victims of violent crime. Many will incur severe physical,
as well as, psychological injuries from criminal attack. If properly prepared to recognize, avoid, and respond to threat situations,
many of these individuals may have escaped harm's way.
This class is currently designed to be taught in 90-120 minute blocks over a 3-4 day period.
Blocks of instruction build upon each other.
Block one: Developing your survival mindset. The keys to survival. Balance & balance displacement.
*Physical skills- Effective combat strikes.
Block two: Evaluating your risk of attack?(National & local Crime
Stats). *Physical skills- Grab escapes and strike combinations.
Block 3: Reducing your risk. Crime prevention-
Home safety & burglary prevention tips. Vehicle safety. Sexual assault & rape prevention. *Physcial skills- Chokes
& escapes from the ground.
Block 4: Reducing your risk. Workplace harassment & violence. *Physical skills-
Personal & improvised weapons. Escape & strike combinations.
Block 5: Reducing your risk. Traveling. Dangers
of and use of non-lethal & lethal weapons. Physcial skills - Final scenario.
